Personal Financial Well-Being Topic of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County Annual Meeting: Monday, December 7, 2009.
The Annual Meeting will start at 5:30 pm with a light soup supper. Judge John Ninfo, who has served as U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of NY since 1992, will present on Five Key Lessons to Financial Self-Sufficiency. Judge Ninfo is well-known for his financial education work in schools and throughout Western NY. In 2002 he founded the Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) Program, a personal financial literacy education outreach program, now in 50 states. Judge Ninfo utilizes his unique knowledge and experiences to provide people with the tactics they need to lead a debt free life. The Annual Meeting will also include a brief business meeting to elect new members of the Board of Directors for 2010 and ratify the Association Constitution. The program is free but pre-registration is required by December 4. To register and for ballot information on Board of Directors, please call 585-394-3977 x 409 or 425.
